Pleasant Pinehurst Outing to Thagard's Mills Ends in Lively Return
A 40 strong Pinehurst party enjoyed a basket picnic at Thagard's Mills nine miles from town. The day featured horse mishaps, a rickety pond boat, artists with kodaks, and a lively lunch prepared by Mrs Thagard and helpers. Charlie Baxter managed the team, while Jenney and others cooked and guided the group back to Holly Inn by 5 PM.
