The South Asked to Grow Wheat for Victory

The government urges the South to grow wheat this year to supply soldiers and Allies in Europe. Three acres with proper plowing and 400 pounds of fertilizer per acre will yield wheat and allow selling excess flour. Wheat at 2.20 dollars per bushel makes a good profit as straw covers fertilizer costs and stubble adds value.
