Furman Morris, about 24, died at Greenville city hospital eight days after appendicitis surgery. The Pickens community mourns a popular, jovial man connected with Folger Thornley & Co. He was born October 23, 1890, survived by his parents six siblings and three brothers, and buried in Pickens after funeral services at home.

B F Mulliken of Easley died in Greenville on the 1st inst in his 59th year. He grew up in Anderson county, lived in Louisiana for about 30 years accumulating property, then moved back to Easley. He leaves a widow six children and his aging mother. Short funeral rites were led by Rev E Babb at the home. burial followed at Slabtown near his childhood scene. May God comfort the bereaved.
