Mrs B F Robertson died Saturday afternoon at Clemson College from pneumonia after influenza. She leaves her husband and three children Benjamin and Amy Bowen stepchildren and Hattie Bowen as well as her father and mother Mr and Mrs M A Boggs of Liberty and several siblings. Burial took place at Liberty Sunday afternoon. She was a Presbyterian church member and devoted Christian worker.

Death of Miss Fannie Mitchell in Pickens County
Miss Fannie Mitchell died at her Masary home October 10 from Spanish influenza after ten days illness attended by Dr. Wall. Born in Six Mile, she lived there until two years ago when she joined the Masley Telephone office. She was to marry Walker Fleming at Piedmont. burial was at Gap Hill Cemetery beside her father. She leaves her mother seven siblings and Avery Mitchell in France amid community sorrow.

Death of David Pilgrim Leaves Family in Mourning
David Pilgrim aged 18 died at his brother Jim Pilgrim’s home on a Saturday night October 12. Burial followed at Six Mile with funeral by Rev. C. B. Atkinson. He left four brothers one sister and three half brothers with many relatives. He was homeless for nearly a year and had saved his father’s inheritance plus a cotton crop valued around 800 dollars.
