A musical play The New Minister charmed Pickens Tuesday and entertained Liberty Friday in the school auditorium. The cast delivered witty, well-balanced performances led by Rev. L. E. Wiggins and Paul Boggs. Miss Margaret Booker sang with charm. Elinor Knight coached, Mrs. W. M. Melton accompanied. Proceeds funded high school physics apparatus.
