Obituary notes L R Dalton known across the county and upper Piedmont as Rex dies at 68. Born in Greenville county near Grove Station, he moved to Mile Creek in 1880 and leaves nine children. He died of pneumonia after a short illness and is buried with Masonic honors at Mile Creek church.
