Registration of men 21 to 30 under federal draft act

The draft registration rules require all men ages 21 to 30 to register at voting precincts on Tuesday June 5 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. under President Wilson's proclamation and the Selective Service Act. A list of questions covers identity, citizenship, occupation, dependents, marital status, race, and prior service, with an affirmation of truth. Registrars Called to Meet at Pickens Court House

A meeting of registrars under the selective draft act and proclamations by the president and South Carolina governor is called for Saturday May 26 at 10 o clock a m at Pickens court house.
