New Robert Fulton Stamp To Use Houdons Portrait
The U S 5 cent Fulton stamp will feature Houdons bust of Robert Fulton and mark the 200th anniversary of his steam boat achievement. First day ceremonies occur at Clermont New York with Kingston postmark for covers. Also reported is the Canal Zone 1962 Thatcher Ferry Bridge error case now in US Court of Appeals as government appeals Judge Hart ruling against reprinting.
