Man Wife Drown at Lake Mary Near Flagstaff
A Flagstaff couple Bert Sanders 33 and his wife Mary Jane drowned when an aluminum 19 foot outboard boat overturned on Lake Mary ten miles southeast of Flagstaff. James Pickering who piloted the craft clung to the capsized boat and was hauled ashore by onlookers. Witnesses said the boat suddenly overturned and no reason was given. The bodies were recovered by sheriff deputies and a coroner's inquest was to be held today.
