Johnson 72 retired Associated Press traffic department Des Moines Iowa died Sunday in Phoenix Funeral services held in Melcher Mortuary with Chaplain M J Zaldivar presiding Burial planned at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Johnson a native of Rose Hill Virginia moved to Mesa in 1957 lived at 210 N 56th St Dreamland Villa He was a member of Sheridan Wyoming Masonic Lodge 43 American Legion Post 374 Des Moines He is survived by Mabel and three sisters all out of state.
Lt Col Robert J Jeffrey retired U S Army assistant manager of Aviation Safety Engineering and Research buried at St Francis Cemetery after services at Messinger Mortuary Scottsdale. He served in Europe and the Pacific in World War II and died Thursday at John C Lincoln Hospital. Survived by his wife Dorothy two daughters Sue Ann and Sharron Ellis two brothers Bill and Fred two sisters Marjorie and June.
Gregorio C Murillo 63 died Saturday at Mari copa County Hospital. Funeral services held last night at Mortensen Kings Funeral Center with burial in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. He lived on 901 S Montezuma and worked as a night watchman for Sears Roebuck. Survived by two daughters Olga Adams Dora Morales two stepsons Jose Medina Hector all of Phoenix two brothers George Phoenix Beniny Los Angeles a sister Sophie Huerta Phoenix and 12 grandchildren.
Rites for Martha Ann Grubbs 68 of 1456 E Second St were led by Rev Vincent Strigas at Green Acres Chapel with burial in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Grubbs died Saturday in Southside District Hospital after moving from Hammond Indiana six years ago. Survivors include daughter Schuyler Mrs Robert Haycock and brothers Elmer Dangler and Adam Dangler. Gerald William Cox 65 owner of Obedience Kennels died Friday at Phoenix Baptist Hospital with services by Rev Don Kelsey at Monte Vista Science of the Mind Chapel. Cremation followed. Cox born in Iowa came to Phoenix in 1942 from Idaho and survived by sisters Josephine Titus Sarah Snyder Don Potteroff and brothers Jesse Willard John Morris.
Marvin R Spooner 71 a retired maintenance worker who came from Farwell Michigan nine years ago to Mesa dies of a heart attack en route to a local hospital Funeral services were to be held at M L Gibbons Desert View Chapel Burial planned at Mountain View Memorial Park He was born in Hillsdale Michigan and survived by two grandchildren.

Last rites at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home and burial in St Francis Cemetery familiar details with survivors including four sons and four daughters. Stanley Vyce Collins 57 of 1734 W Roosevelt Phoenix native died Sunday with services tomorrow at A L Moore and Sons Mortuary and burial Greenwood Memorial Park. Howard Lester Goldman 82 died Saturday at home 47 E Vernon services tomorrow at Mercer Mortuary burial Memory Lawn Cemetery. Goldman was a purchasing agent and traffic manager, member of First Congregational Church and Verde Masonic Lodge. he leaves a wife and children including Howard R Phoenix and Miriam Jones Los Angeles.

She is survived by a daughter Edith Pugliese of Phoenix two sons Marvin Nicely in England with the Air Force and Robert of North Tonawanda and two sisters living out of state.
Clarence R Farnholtz aged 51 will be honored at 10 am tomorrow at Mercer Mortuary with the Rev Raymond G Manker of the Unitarian Church of Phoenix presiding. Died Saturday at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla California. Survivors include daughter Mrs Earl Stacy of Phoenix and a son in California.
Domenico Colone 70 died Saturday in Detroit. Born in Italy, he worked 35 years for Ford Motor Co. in Detroit before retiring to Mesa Ariz. He lived at 460 S Barkley Dr Mesa. Survived by three sons Michael Ralph Dominic all in Detroit, two daughters Anne Cimerelli of Mesa and Constance Sacco of Detroit, a sister in Italy and 13 grandchildren.
Services for C Herrold Higgins 64 of Mesa were held today at Mesa Mortuary with Rev. Ken Merrifield officiating. Burial followed at Mesa Cemetery. Higgins, born in New York, lived in Arizona since childhood and led Higgins Brown Travel. formerly ran Higgins Trading Post and worked at Luke AFB.
