New York May 11 Senator Platt who returned from Washington yesterday said tonight that he would accept a renomination.
Officials say borings for the Market street subway will finish by June 15 and surveys complete. The main hurdle is sewer and conduit networks. A Union Traction director cautions an elevated road will take five years before any action, with only the subway planned now and no cars to the subway from Lejun.

General C H T Collis died after an operation at 11 45 p m last night at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was City Solicitor of Gettysburg for three terms beginning in 1871 and later served as Commissioner of Public Works in New York under the Grant administration. His three children were at his bedside. Mrs. Collis was in Paris en route from Northern Russia. He had arrived Saturday from Gettysburg for the procedure.
Daniel Ryan, claiming to be born in 1800, appeared at Central station on a drunkenness charge. Magistrate Rochersperger doubted the age, noted he would be 102, and told him to go home. The man said his father told him the birth year. He left the court in no jail time.

In Guthrie Oklahoma May 11 information indicates Kansas City Southern Railway with Henry Frick of Pittsburgh backing the Fort Smith and Western Railway from Fort Smith Arkansas toward Guthrie and on to Denver Colorado. Survey work is being pushed toward Denver and contractors have been told Frick will personally guarantee construction and push the project.
