The resignation of C. E. Clure as cashier was received yesterday by the Bank of Petersburg. He has accepted the cashier post at the Farmers' State Bank in North Powder Union county Eastern Oregon and has ordered an automobile.
The notice outlines ships and schedules including Humboldt Al-Ki and City of Seattle sailings from Seattle, Jefferson's return to Seattle due to machinery, and Farragut service to Seattle. It also reports personnel movements with Jack Graham joining the Farragut, Hinar Beyer and Haakon Friele from Pt. Walter aboard Fanshaw, and Port Walter cannery progress. New York June 29 The German raider Seadler is reported to be five hundred miles off the American coast in the lane of traffic to Europe.

He served aboard the Spokane and earlier on the State of California during Gambier Bay sinking, and also survived Cottage City and Ramona wrecks.
Jack Hays of the Alaska road commission, a southbound steamer passenger, was challenged at the wharf by J. W. Stott for news on Petersburg Scow Bay road progress. Hays said the commission plans to begin work soon and aims to push completion this season.
