Two men accused of unrelated bomb plots in Illinois
Two men in separate cases face federal charges after attempting to detonate what they believed were bombs outside a Illinois courthouse and a Dallas skyscraper. Michael C. Finton and Hosam Maher Husein Smadi were supplied inert devices by undercover FBI agents posing as al-Qaida operatives. Both men could face life in prison if convicted.
