More than one hundred men and all members of the Christian Brotherhood attended a rabbit supper in the Christian Church basement after revival services. Mrs Springer Dead in Pendleton Area Funeral rites held for Sarah Springer
Mrs Sarah Springer aged 79 died at her East street home after a long illness. She was born July 31, 1844 near Pendleton. She married Jeremiah Veach in 1872 and John Springer in 1894. Survived by husband Herbert Veach, a daughter in law, stepchildren, grandchildren, and a half sister. She was known as Aunt Sallie and was the last of thirteen siblings.
