Art Association Receives Three Pictures for School Year
The Art Association received The Colosseum of Rome Vespasian Arch and The Acropolis from Maurice R. Lukens honorary president of the association. The pictures were placed in the Public Library and will be presented to the High School at the opening of the school year as a tribute to the memory of the class of 1905.

Jackson Threshing Company Elects Officers on County Line
The Jackson Threshing Company met at Oscar Ham's home on the Hancock Madison county line Tuesday night. Oscar Ham was elected President and Walker Jackson Secretary. The company will thresh 277 acres of wheat and 239 acres of oats starting Monday on the Robert Heath farm. Ham reports good quality and yield but low price.
