Ingalls School Ends Term with Bird Club Highlights
Ingalls school closed its first semester on December 22 and reopens January 2, 1923. Enrollment by grade totals 35, 34, 33, and 13. A bird club formed in the first month reports six species studied, twenty six birds sighted on an autumn hike, and planned all day outing for spring. The paper notes growing school spirit, playground equipment needs, and community visits around Fortville, Anderson, Pendleton, and Indianapolis as local families travel for events and gatherings.
