More than fifty physicians gathered for the eastern Oregon Medical association convention in Pendleton. Speakers from Walla Walla, Spokane, Pullman, Bellingham, Seattle, Portland and Salem presented papers on infectious disease, typhoid, nutrition, tuberculosis, gynecology and ophthalmology, with Dr. J. Bootlegger Seized After Blind Pig Bust In Walla Walla
In Walla Walla bootlegger Thomas Dethridge opened a blind pig near the old Northern Pacific depot and was arrested hours later after patrons bought whiskey for 1.50 a bottle.
