In North Portland the sheep market remained steady with no new arrivals overnight. A local meat company’s regular buyer moved 12 loads of mutton for domestic use, while prices held firm and no changes were announced.
A Pendleton resident, P. Hutchinson of 1610 W Webb St, testifies that Dean's Kidney Pills relieved his back pain and kidney symptoms after earlier doubt. Also promotes Hall's Family Pills for constipation.
Wheat prices closed unchanged for September and 1-40 off for December and May. The market faced mixed signals with large Russian shipments, increased northwest stocks, and bear pressure on further declines.
