T. R s Old Hat Beaten to Frazzle
Little Rock Arkansas September 25. The hat Roosevelt tossed into the ring after the Chidage convention went into the ash can today and a new sombrero was chosen as the colonel s sky piece. The old hat was beaten to a frazzle by beating it on tables and waving it to cheering crowds. His one suit of clothes is hardly less battered. The suit looked bad enough before he reached Oklahoma City. Women there added the last tear by grabbing the ex president by the coattails yanking out a big piece of cloth as a souvenir.
