Old Mystery Solved in Idaho Mountains by Pioneer Finley
Pioneer prospector William Finley finds a tin can epitaph from dead partners Jack Howard and Jim Wilder, shedding light on six year old disappearance in the Seven Devils. The note, penned by Howard for Wilder, hints at reunion in the land of gold if fate allows. Finley, who knew both men for over 25 years, seeks Howard’s whereabouts and asks correspondents to address cards to him in Bisbee, Arizona. Both men were well educated, with Wilder an Englishman and Oxford graduate.
