Patriotic Service League drives county war effort
The Umatilla County Patriotic Service League coordinates county war work under the County Court and Pendleton council with a monthly $250 appropriation. It consolidates branches from local to national levels, coordinates drives and subscriptions, and expands offices and staff to distribute burdens equitably. The Women’s Division organizes under the league to unify efforts, while the campaign system tracks ratings, solicitations, and contributions across Pendleton and surrounding areas.
