Lavine Ville welcomed President Wilson as the presidential train crossed the bridge into the station. Crowds thronged every vantage point with bouquets for Mrs Wilson as the party toured, including Senator William Jennings Bryan and other figures aboard. Wilson rested in bed during the parade and did not rise until the train reached Lenuneville. About twenty five thousand greeted Wilson at Lincoln's birthplace as farmers from miles around joined the cheers.

Saturday afternoon she and Admiral ran were honored guests at a lawn reception hosted by Mrs. George Flavel with several guests in attendance. The queen’s ball at the duke was a grand social affair with Governor Withycombe and Hartey chairing, and the admiral presenting the queen to Chelan Hartey.
