Parker affidavit on Jennie Van Pelt land sale dispute
A sworn statement by A L Parker claims he offered twenty dollars an acre for the Jennie Van Pelt land, which was later sold to McCallum for about ten dollars per acre via W L Thompson. Thompson replies defending the sale and asserts Van Pelt acted knowingly with attorney guidance, while detailing bids and records from the Indian agency and local bank dealings.
