Frazer theater crowd fills Hi Henrys minstrel show
Henrys Minstrels fell short of expectations as Frazer theater hosted the first show of the season. The crowd packed the venue yet found much of the performance commonplace and lacking. costumes were fair, some singers showed class, dancers impressed, but overall, the act did not justify the heavy turnout. An amusing intermission moment saw the minstrel orchestra descend to the pit via a long step ladder.
