The Pendleton area markets show producer prices for eggs and poultry, ham and bacon, butter and hogs, with notes on Walla Walla wheat yields and local cattle and hog trends. North Portland hogs dipped to 15.25, cattle steady, sheep slow, and overall hogs and cattle mostly unchanged.
Small supplies in the sheep and lamb trade kept activity slow while killers refrained from heavy purchasing. Prices for lambs, stockers, yearlings, and wethers are listed with slight shifts. grain prices show little movement though occasional 60 cent changes appear. Oregon cranberries sell for 25 cents a pound. Florida grapefruit arrives at 50 cents for three. peppers and cauliflowers show mid single to high single digit prices. Cannonball cabbage from Oregon sells at 4 per pound.
