Pendleton Adopts Alta and Chestnut Street Improvement Plan
At a regular adjourned meeting on October 3 1915 the Pendleton Common Council adopted a resolution to improve Alta Street from Main to Chestnut and Chestnut Street from Alta to Webb with gravel bitulithic pavement. A special assessment district No 27 is created with lots and parcels liable for costs, and a notice will run ten days in the East Oregonian. Thomas Fitzgerald signs dated October 4 1915.
