Hand Bell Ringers Score a Success at Epworth Methodist
The Epworth League presented a superior musical program at the Methodist Episcopal church last Saturday. Ten artists formed the hand bell group including conductor Mr Giggle, eight bell ringers, and Mr Blileau the 80 loist and humorist. The ensemble displayed a wide repertoire from Il Trovatore to patriotic anthems and popular tunes. The audience was invited to inspect the bells, and organizers announced the next act by the Virginia Jubilee Singers who come highly recommended.
