Rescuers trapped by second Idaho mine cave-in

In Mullan Idaho on November 23, rescuers Gin Coldhunter and Janes Collins along with Jace Delmirk were trapped by a second cave-in while attempting to reach two miners buried a week earlier. The rescuers were later freed as fire and rescue efforts continued and the imprisoned men were reported safe.

Public figure Burgess dies. Moorland ally mourned

M Aureos Burgess, prominent in public affairs and promoter of the Tavitic International Livestock Expedition, died in Portland where he had traveled for the event. He and his friend Fakis Marsh Hall were longtime associates. Burgess had served as state senator and as a business representative.
