In Douglas County on Yellow Creek two men were shot and killed during a dispute over a timber claim. N Kincaid and H Shook died, L Pinchette was wounded. Carlisle brothers surrendered in Oakland claiming self defense.
The latest financial development is one dollar clearing house certificates that pass with little trouble except on streetcars where conductors refuse them to avoid being left without change. A clash between men and car men over their acceptance was stopped by police. Generally the certificates are treated as redeemable like government bonds.
Washington Nov 12 Justice Stafford adjourned court after the Bradley murder case as a death in the court family delayed proceedings. Mrs. Bradley, confined in a cell, gazed at Senator Brown's picture used in the case.
