Twin Falls corn farm yields promise from experiments
Alex McPherson of Twin Falls visits Bolso with C A L McPherein en route home from Moscow where he attended a state horticulture meeting. He oversees a Twin Falls Buhl two acre farm showing sixteen corn varieties, eight mature, some may improve with another year. One ear per stalk has advanced to fourteen rows after two years of selection, with aim of two full ears. The farm will close January first for the Twin Falls company, but McPherson will continue privately to benefit farmers and cover expenses.
