All Day Cigars On Display At New York Museum
The American Museum of Natural History features 4 foot 6 inch cigars for a day’s smoking and a fork like holder used as a stand. Explorers near Rio Negro collected items during a three month Amazon journey. Indian cigars measure 18 inches and are as thick as a child’s arm and are lit by sticking the fork’s tines into the ground. The exhibit includes many vivid artifacts from the journey, deemed highly valuable and unmatched except for similar items in a German museum.
