Public notice invites sealed proposals not later than May 7 1913 for sprinkling district streets of Pendleton Oregon for 1914 with separate bids per district and a team per day rate. Also calls for fire alarm system bids with specifications and 5 percent bid bond due May 7 1913 and right to reject any bid.
The City of Pendleton Oregon invites sealed proposals to purchase 200 bonds with par value two hundred thousand dollars at six percent interest maturing in twenty years. Bids due May 14 1912 by 5 pm at City Hall office. Bid security of two thousand five hundred dollars required. Thomas Fitz Gerald City Recorder reserves right to reject any bid. Posted April 19 1913.
The City of Pendleton invites sealed bids by May 7 2014 for gravel bitulithic pavement curb gutter and drainage on Raley Street between Boa t ree t and Short Street. Bid packets require $200 certified check and itemized per unit prices for pavement curb and gutter pipes manholes and headers.

Echo, Oregon, May 5 special correspondence reports the Echo C B ball team defeating Hermiston on the local field. The Stanfield midgets also fell to Echo in a follow up game. A Sunday irrigation league match saw Hermiston visit Echo, with Hermiston prevailing six to three.

John MecNarlen pitched superbly, scattering hits as Umatilla surged with timely hitting to secure their first win after three defeats. Umpire Long officiated.
