Antioch Cal March 26 Mrs Emma Ladoux or McVicar is held in Ant ioch on suspicion of murdering her divorced husband Albert McVicar whose body was found in a trunk at Stockton. Detective Gibson and Under Sheriff Case traced her to Antioch after a telegram to Joseph Healy led to a late Saturday meeting. She confessed nothing and said she would ship the body to Colorado.

O R N To Complete Oil Tank At Umatilla

The O R and N completes an oil storage tank at Umatilla to serve locomotives between Umatilla and The Dalles. Upon completion several engines will be converted to oil burners and placed in service on the west end of the system. If successful, all engines on the line will switch from coal to oil burners.

Prison Guard Stabbed, Convict Killed in Missouri Penitentiary
