Mrs Alice Gard Injured in California Runaway
Friends in Pilot Rock and Pendleton regret to report Mrs. Alice Gard her daughter in law Mrs Amelia Gard and granddaughter Alice Gard were injured in a buggy runaway at Santa Rosa California on the 7th inst The accident left Mrs Gard with a fracture and gashes several bruises Mrs Amelia Gard dislocated shoulder and bruising their child cut on head face and body All were taken to Mary Jesse hospital and treated by Dr J W Jesse They are resting well and it is hoped no serious consequences will follow

Expo construction rushes to finish 1915 Panama-Pacific
Panama-Pacific International Exposition plans in San Francisco progress at a record pace with thousands employed at Harbor View. Fourteen exhibit buildings will be under construction by July and completed within a year. An orange glass concession building by Orange Blossom Incorporated is designed by Albert Lansburgh and valued at 25000. A million dollar auditorium at Cliye Center, seating about 11000, is approved and funded.
