Cattle on Feed Are Scarce in North Portland Market
The Tuesday market reports very limited cattle on feed from Beho to Willow Creek and along John Day. North Portland had no cattle arrivals and prices were tested only by four loads from Medford resting to meet government rules. Hog and sheep activity was subdued with nominal prices and small volumes, while grain and wheat markets showed mixed quotes and evidence of tracking Chicago levels.
