Spruce Holdings 10 Be Offered for Sale
Portland, June 13. The United Spruce Production corporation announced that its sawmills, mills, railroads, timber lands in Oregon and Washington are to be offered for sale. The move follows government plans to place these properties with experienced operators to rapidly convert to commercial lumber production for emergency aircraft needs. Interest among lumbermen in Pacific Northwest operations is rising as this develop ment is noted.
