Texas moves to enforce pure food law on sale days
Austin, June 1. Clearance sales of questionable food and drug products have been in progress in Texas for several days as merchants try to escape penalties under the strict pure food laws. In Walla Walla on June 1 Fred Roff and Dorsey Brunton received a $1000 reward for locating the body of Mrs Anna Aldrich. The missing relative offered the reward, payable whether the body was found dead or alive. The body was found May 7 in a lonely Copper Creek gulch. Reward was paid by daughters Mrs J G Bailey and Mrs J A Gage.
