The project used 77 000 cubic yards of rock gravel and clay to form a 40-foot dam. Debates show a split on nominating a state ticket versus opposing the constitution, with the larger faction favoring adopting the constitution and preparing to name a ticket led by Governor Frants who is seen as Roosevelt’s ally and federal patronage controller.

First Organ in Alaska to Be Seen at Seattle Exposition
