New York July 30 The Standard Company emphatically denies a Telegraph Mail story that its ny and the monster off Inter of Rockefeller Rothschild and le have formed a working agreement to control world oil. The record calls the tale an invention aimed at harming the Standard. Wall Street doubts the claim though noting all three oil interests are reportedly fondly.
Former Chief Police Devery leading Tammany campaign efforts in the Ninth District organized a picnic for women and children. About ten thousand people rode two steamers and four barges to Raritan Bay grove. The event cost each attendee about $1.00 per thousand?
Elm Grove Wis July 30 A collision between the Wauisha Serut airliner and a westbound freight on the Milwaukee road at 8 o clock this morning left engineer Dennis Connell and a passenger dead and Fireman Thomas Chamtlain Will Day and six other passengers injured The freight failed to back onto a spur in time to clear the run and the plane struck it

Capital is 6 million dollars in ten dollar shares. Incorporators are local men claiming support from unidentified Eastern capitalists, whose identities could not be confirmed.
Spokane July 30 report that Harry Tracy’s body if killed before August 28 may be shown at Seattle Elks carnival and possibly brought to Spokane first. John Cort Northwest Theatrical Syndicate president reportedly secured a contract with Tracy’s wife for exhibition at two bits per viewer. Dan L Weaver praises the plan as a money making novelty for the carnival run August 18 to 28.
Survivors of Col. John Mosby’s Confederate unit gathered in Leesburg Virginia for their annual reunion. The town decorated for the event and hosted open house with formal exercises on the courthouse green. Col. HB White delivered a greeting, Col. John H. Alexander, president of the veterans association, replied. Most veterans are aging and few remain to attend future reunions.
