Make Idaho Dry Ant-Saloon League campaigns through Idaho churches
The Boise Capital News reports an Idaho effort to make the state dry through local option laws and broad church campaigns. Prohibitionists launched the drive in Boise with resolutions in First Presbyterian and Methodist congregations, led by Rev. C. E. Helman. The movement aims to push party conventions and legislature to back stricter liquor enforcement and local option laws, urging Ada county voters to press political committees to nominate anti liqu or traffic candidates.
