Fire in Barn on Ranch Causes $1000 Loss

Neighbors formed a bucket brigade to prevent spread to outbuildings and the house. Cause is a mystery, but a drayman helping move furniture may have dropped a lighted match into a dry manure pile. Mr and Mrs Riggie, living on the ranch, were moving belongings to town when the blaze was discovered. A strong wind aided the rapid spread.
