Mrs Elizabeth Scales aged 74 formerly of Joliet and Sherwood town now Pendleton Oregon passed away at home on Willow Street after a long life as mother of nine. Funeral will be tomorrow at 2 PM from the family residence with Rev We Le Tan Nuys Presbyterian minister officiating. Interment at Olney Cemetery. She leaves husband John L Bowles and three surviving children A S Sones Chas A Scales Minela Linda Spencer and a large family.
