Three reel attractions headline Tuesday at the Orpheum and Big Vitagraph with Vanity Fair adapted from Thackeray and The Lost Horse from Lubin. The program also features Mr Inquisitive, a farce about a curious servant and a painted horse scam.
The Pastime presents Vita graph comedies The Politician's Dream with Bunny as the politician and Misa Flora Finch as the widow, a romance about a rival's planned marriage. Added are At the Stroke of Twelve essay and Saved by the Pony Express, plus Cowboy Life and The Newsy and the Tramp vaudeville acts including Than houser Kid with Raggy and a light romantic plot. Also shown are Ambrosia Russia drama and Verona's Broken Promise with Lone Wolf’s pursuit, ending with Fidelity Investigated and A rollicking Great Northern comedy Wilfey and a detective stenographer tale.
Washington. Secretary of the Treasury MacVeagh received a postal ecard from Heaven urging that United States notes ranging from fifty to one thousand dollars be engraved with landscape scenes on one side and spices for identification and signature on the other. The sender signed as United States of Heaven.
