Sheep Grazing Proposed as Forest Fire Prevention Measure
In a case for forest fire prevention, the speaker argues that grazing by sheep on forest lands is the most practical shield against destructive fires. Citing experience from Washington and Colville, he claims sheep reduce inflammable undergrowth, lowering fire risk, and praises forest guards while urging wider use of grazing to protect timber and future generations.
