Severe Kick and Poison Injuries Hamlet Patient
Bruce Parrish lies in a city hospital after a Friday night kick to the stomach and self poisoning with laudanum and carbolic acid. His case is worsened by preexisting stomach weakness from liquor. After an ambulance of neighbors and a pioneer physician treated him with pumping and stomach rinses, Parrish endured repeated doses and a strenuous voyage to recover. The incident followed a divorce suit against his wife alleging cruelty. Separately, Andrew Miller sues Sabina Leeco and J H Koontz to foreclose a lien tied to sanatorium work and a mechanic’s lien.
