Pendleton Chapter American Woman's League meets at city hall assembly room at 3 p m on the second Monday each month. Class in Parliamentary Law meets at city hall on second and fourth Mondays at 3 p m. Pendleton Political Equality League meets at the call of the president.
A novel use of black satin and ribbon adds an individual touch to a dull green cachemire dress. Black satin trims the shallow yoke and long sleeves, with an embroidered darker green edge along the bodice. Ribbon crosses the bodice from beneath a left plac ed bow to a black girdle, drifting beneath as a long fringe. The skirt ends with a black satin band and ecru shadow lace trimming.
The newest street fashion features a pleated peplum as a standout note for the season. Soft refers beneath the bolero front, sleeves cut with joined upper and lower sections, and a skirt with two side pleats add fullness to a plain base showing a fashion-forward silhouette.
