Boiler Explosion Kills Fifteen Men in Pittsfield Plant
Dec. 29 Pittsfield Mass Fifteen workers died and twelve were injured in a boiler explosion at the Morewood Lake plant. Over thirty men were in the building when the blast wrecked the facility. Among the dead listed are William Dunn Edgar Allen John Raymond and Martin Smith. Engineered Dunn was hurled 200 feet and Smith 100 feet. Eleven of the injured were brought to the city hospital.
