Mad driver wrecks Pendleton Drug Store in 2000 damage
O G Allen, a local photographer and former Salem asylum patient, escaped hospital care last night and plowed his Ford through the Pendleton Drug Store on Court and Main. The crash caused about 2000 in damage with no customers inside. Allen was detained, declared insane, and placed in a padded cell after his wild ride, which saw him shout let her buck and grab a cigar from the showroom.
