A small windstorm swept across the Inland Empire area shortly after 11 yesterday, reaching a miniature cyclone in Southmayor, McKinney and Wilson additions. It overturned a two room frame house of Harry Steiner, nearly harming his wife and two children, as a mattress shielded them during the chaos. The wreck scattered the home’s contents, but the family escaped unhurt. A deputation led by B F Benson of Prosser Falls Light and Water Co was to visit Yakima this afternoon to meet with reclamation service officials and Congressman Wesley Is Toner. The group seeks reversal of the service water withdrawal from the Yakima River which local farmers say is badly needed for irrigation.

William Bennett stockman reports four horses missing weeks ago have been recovered in Bear Valley Grant county. Sheriff Childers traced the horses near the same time Bennett learned of them. Bennett believes they strayed and were fed there by a mare that was ruined in Bear valley, while he suspects they were driven off.
