Prominent Milwaukee Bank President Removed

Milwaukee April 4 Frank G Bigelow president of the First National Bank of Milwaukee and former National Bankers Association head was ousted by the directors. They took steps to protect depositors and signed a personal guarantee for 1 600 000, with bank surplus and undivided profits securing the institution. Traver Chosen Salem Schools Superintendent

L Traver recently elected city superintendent of Salem Schools by the Pendleton school board to succeed F G Conklin who resigned. Traver, already a Salem Schools official, was reportedly the unanimous choice with a salary near the former annual pay. Conklin will become Ontario high school principal and farmer, moving to a nearby property.
